Schedule and Budget a Narrative Film with Deidre Backs

This workshop will be a general overview of how to schedule and budget a narrative film. Attendees will create a breakdown of elements within a script scene and learn how this is used to assemble a schedule. From there, we'll look at how the schedule creates foundational information needed to budget and identify possible production issues.

We'll talk through:

• Overall structure of a budget

• Explore more complicated aspects like fringes, insurance, and contingencies

Since every department works off of the production schedule and has their own internal budget, this workshop is for all filmmakers, not just producers.
